Managing Director – Steve MacDonald
Steve MacDonald was appointed Managing Director of Zinfra Group in November 2013. Steve is an experienced and proven executive and business leader having led businesses in construction, infrastructure services and infrastructure ownership during his career of more than 26 years with the Transfield group companies.
Prior to his appointment at Zinfra Group Steve was Chief Executive - Marketing and Investments at Transfield Services. Other roles held during his time with the Transfield group include Chief Executive Officer of Transfield Construction, Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund and public transport operator, Yarra Trams.
Steve’s industry experience includes power generation, transmission and distribution, telecommunications, water, roads and rail, public transport and the oil and gas sectors. He has worked in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and led the Transfield Services expansion into North America and the Middle East.
Steve is an experienced company Director and has worked in non-executive roles in numerous companies, government boards, joint ventures and alliances.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Degree with honours.

Chief Financial Officer – Louren Edwards
Louren Edwards is a finance and business leader with strategic and operational experience in the infrastructure services and energy sectors.
Louren has more than 15 years’ experience in finance roles across a number of industries, with a proven background of managing complex and dynamic financial operations within large corporate environments.
Louren joined Jemena in 2006 and has held a variety of roles during that time, including Commercial Projects Manager in the Asset Management business and Group Manager Finance Reporting in the Corporate Finance team. Prior to joining Zinfra Group as CFO, Louren was the General Manager Finance, Jemena Infrastructure Services. Louren has also held senior finance roles in companies including Epic Energy and Burswood Entertainment Complex.
Louren holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Edith Cowan University, and is also a member of CPA Australia.

General Manager, Legal and Commercial Services – Sally Rogers
Sally Rogers has over 10 years construction, projects, corporate and commercial law experience. Prior to her appointment in 2012, Sally held senior legal roles within the Jemena Infrastructure Services business providing practical and strategic legal advice across the full spectrum of activities undertaken by that business, including pre-contract advice and negotiation, procurement, early dispute resolution and legal compliance.
Internationally, Sally has worked in the United Kingdom at the law firm Hammonds where she specialised in providing front-end major projects and construction advice to a wide range of clients (predominantly contractors). Sally has particular expertise in project structuring and front end negotiations under a wide range of procurement models including NEC3, JCT and NHSPFI. Sally also worked in-house at ALSTOM Transport UK and understands the commercial, practical and legal challenges of project delivery.
In Australia, Sally has been a senior lawyer with Minter Ellison Construction and Infrastructure Group in Perth where she specialised in providing front end construction advice to mining and civil works contractors. Sally also worked in the Brisbane office of Minter Ellison providing corporate and commercial advice to a wide range of clients. Prior to Minter Ellison, Sally was Legal and Business Affairs Manager and Company Secretary for a TV Production Company in Queensland.
Sally is admitted to the NSW Supreme Court, the WA Supreme Court and the QLD Supreme Court and is also eligible for admission in the United Kingdom and Wales. Sally holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) / Arts from University of Sydney and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Society of Construction Law (Australia).

General Manager, People, Development and Communications – Leanne Beveridge
Leanne is a Human Resource leader with strategic and operational experience in the energy and resources, fast moving consumer goods and agribusiness sectors.
With a strong business focus in driving leading solutions, process change and organisational growth, Leanne has also delivered quality processes, strategic change and engagement initiatives.
Leanne has a history working in industrial environments for companies including Lumo Energy, Sara Lee, Unilever and Coles Myer. Leanne has also held the position of Director, BMC Australasia.
Prior to joining Zinfra Group, Leanne was Executive General Manager, People and Performance at Lumo Energy.

General Manager, Network Services (NSW/ACT) – Mario Bavaro
Mario has over 25 years experience in energy utilities and related industries, starting his career as a Cadet Engineer with the then NSW Electricity Commission.
Mario is a business manager with broad experience in senior and high accountability roles. He has held a number of diverse management positions, with experience ranging from business development to project directorship and management of utility infrastructure construction and service contracts for clients, including accountability for business profit and loss. Mario also has considerable supporting experience in commercial management, financial and business analysis and operations management.

General Manager, Network Services (VIC) – Kevin McGrath
Kevin has over 25 years in senior construction, asset management and critical infrastructure project delivery. Kevin’s experience consists of operational and general management roles with experience relating to commercial, business development, operational and business management in the energy and infrastructure markets.
Kevin has diverse, global engineering experience. He commenced as a Project Engineer at National Grid and thereafter Construction Director for AMEC Power and Operations Manager for 24/7 (formerly TXU/London Electricity). In New Zealand, Kevin was a Senior Consultant at BECA, Divisional Manager / General Manager at Siemens Energy Services and General Manager at Energex NZ.
Moving to Australia, Kevin was the Energy Division Operating Officer at Energex accountable for the day-to-day operational outcomes, including 2,500 staff. Kevin was the first point of contact for all operational aspects for the delivery of the Program of Work.

General Manager, Northern / Central Contracting (NSW/QLD/NT/WA) – John Gardner
John is a decisive, clear and assertive leader with over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. He applies analytical, logical and objective thinking to project planning and project execution.
As a leader John is focused on setting the foundations for; a safety culture focused on people and the protection of the client’s asset, achieving high productivity, strong cost control, and solid risk management.
John began his career as an Electrical Line Worker with Hydro Electric Commission and has since worked in a variety of management and operational roles throughout his career, with companies such as Aurora Energy, Agility Services, Southeast Queensland and Electricity Board and Benchmark Power.

General Manager, Southern Contracting (VIC/TAS/SA) – Mark Gould
Mark has more than 20 years’ Executive Management experience in the manufacturing and electrical contracting industries. He has worked in a number of companies in New Zealand and Australia in Engineering, Product Development and General Management focusing on business improvement and expansion.
Mark’s previous roles include National Manager, Electrical Operation for Alinta, General Manager Electrical for NPS, General Manager Diecraft Australia and National Manufacturing Manager for Marley Plastics.

General Manager, Strategy and Market Development – Cameron Evans
Cameron has a wealth of experience across the infrastructure services industry in the utilities, transport, and water sectors. He has worked in a number of senior roles including Executive Manager Strategy and Development Transfield Services, and his role prior to joining Zinfra Group was as General Manager Roads and Water Infrastructure, Australian and New Zealand Transfield Services.
Previous to roles at Transfield Services, Cameron worked with organisations including Veolia and MWH in roles covering large scale project development and delivery throughout Australia and the UK.
Cameron has educational qualifications in Engineering (both Chemical and Environmental), Finance (in Applied Finance and Investment) and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Group Manager, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) – Rodney Houliston
Rodney Houliston is an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality leader with over 20 years’ experience across the construction and mining sectors.
Rodney has extensive experience managing Governance, Standards and Compliance, developing Audit and Training programs, and developing SEQ management systems.
Rodney has a history working with companies such as Walter Construction Group, Leighton Contractors Pty Ltd, Macmahon-MVM Rail Pty Ltd and Tenix Australia Pty Ltd where he has been responsible for incorporating all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality performance into the business.
At Zinfra Group, Rodney’s priority is to develop programs that will drive Zinfra Group to embed a safety leadership approach into the way we do business.
